Welcome to The Institute for Dental Implants

Dentistry Implants - Returning health and confidence to you

Our teeth play a vital role in our everyday lives. Without them we cannot speak clearly, eat properly or even smile without being self-conscious. Irrespective of the reasons why you may have lost your teeth, The Institute of Dental Implants provides a range of successful dentistry implant procedures to replace any number of missing teeth.

The Institute for Dental Implants uses only medical grade titanium posts that are placed in the jawbone to replace or substitute a missing tooth root or teeth. Through a process known as osseointegration, dentistry implants are integrated naturally with the existing bone.

Following this integration, a crown, bridge or arch dentures are fitted which can replace one or more missing teeth and eliminates the need for often painful and uncomfortable dentures.

The crown and tooth root component of a dentistry implant is designed in such a way that it mimics an actual tooth and its crown and root.

Types of Dentistry Implants

At the Institute of Dental Implants we understand that an implanted new tooth is intended not only to fulfill a natural function, but it should also be similar to a natural tooth; especially at the front of the mouth from the surrounding teeth.

Single Tooth

We recognise some people may have lost a tooth due to sporting injuries, trauma or decay, which is why we help to restore confidence.

The dentistry implant for a single tooth replaces a tooth and acts as a post for the implant crown. It is not necessary to grind the neighbouring teeth down so healthy teeth are preserved.

The dentistry implant replaces the function of the tooth root and transmits the chewing force from the tooth crown to the jaw bone. This natural stress keeps the jaw bone vital so it does not recede.

Multiple teeth

We can provide implants for two or more missing teeth and help you get back your smile. You may have lost multiple teeth for a number of reasons such as Periodontal Disease, after anorexia and bulimia or from excessive teeth grinding. Whatever your reason, we will work with you to ensure you’re happy with your smile.

To prevent further bone loss and further movement of the teeth and jaw, any gaps involving several teeth should be quickly closed. An advantage of implant borne bridges is that healthy neighbouring teeth do not have to be ground down. Implant borne bridges are a better option aesthetically as they end optimally at the gums.

Denture Stabilisation

Our denture stabilisation implants provide stability and retention to anchor a removable denture. Designed to provide confidence when chewing and talking, the denture can be easily removed for cleaning.

Upper/Lower Jaw Treatment

If you have complex problems with remaining teeth, crumbly or decayed teeth, or have an upper lower denture replacement, we can offer dental implants to bring back your perfect smile.

If all teeth are missing or need to be replaced, a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants in the best permanent solution.

Removable denture’s overtime can lead to an improper fit resulting in looseness and instability. This is due to bone resorbtion, a process that continues throughout our life and can lead to an inability or difficulty in wearing dentures.

When teeth and bone are lost, there is an obvious deterioration in the appearance of the face as the bone resorbs resulting in an aged look. Once dental implants have been placed, they can help to preserve the bone while enhancing the facial appearance. It is possible to replace a full jaw with four or more dental implants and a fixed bridge that is permanent, stable and aesthetically realistic.

Advantages of a Dentistry Implant

Under the skills and supervision of Dr Christopher Ho, dentistry implant has a success rate of over 98%. Our system, the Nobel Biocare and Astra Tech implant system, has been scientifically proven with independent research.

Some of the advantages of this procedure are
